Alexander H. Kim LAc.
Acupuncturist and East Asian Medicine Practitioner
Chinese Medicine has changed my life. I suffered from asthma when I was young and conventional treatments were used to suppress my symptoms. Concerned with living my life dependent on pharmaceutical drugs, I embarked on a path in Chinese Medicine in hopes of improving my quality of life. I learned that my asthma, shortness of breath, wheezing, allergies, congestion, fatigue, and bouts of depression and grief were all intimately connected. After three months of treatment with Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine, lifestyle suggestions, dietary recommendations and Qi Gong (breathing exercises), I saw all my symptoms improve. I have not had another asthma attack since.
I love Chinese Medicine and have devoted a life of passionate study in its enormous field. My commitment to study this year is on facial rejuvenation, astrology, and meditation. When I am not studying or treating patients, I like to climb, hike, travel, swim, read, and spend time with family, friends, and my dog.
The most common conditions I treat are low back pain, neck and shoulder pain/tension, knee pain, headaches, migraines, arthritis, carpal tunnel, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, fatigue, toothache, gout, depression, worry, anxiety, over thinking, difficulty concentrating, poor memory, grief, anger, stress, car accidents, and difficulty with sleep, digestion, respiration, and reproductive issues.
I can treat these wide ranges of conditions by utilizing the tools of Chinese Medicine:
- Tui Na (Bodywork)
- Essential Oils on Acupuncture Points
- Qi Gong
- Dietary and Lifestyle Suggestions
Most of my patients come to see me as a last resort after they’ve already seen their general practitioners, specialists, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, and surgery. My treatments can give my patients immediate and long-lasting relief and in some cases, prevent surgery. If you are suffering from any of these conditions and especially if your symptoms interfere with your job, hobbies, or relationships, Chinese Medicine could be life-changing for you.
There are many thanks that are due for guiding and shaping the course of events that leads me with you today. If you are suffering from any of the conditions listed above, I am available for a free consultation to explain my procedures and answer any questions. My ultimate goal is to empower the healing potential of each patient.
